Grant Brackpool has re-joined Westover Jaguar in Dorset after two and a half years away from the showroom. Grant - who originally joined Westover Jaguar aged 25 on 1 November 2002, returned exactly 15 years later on 1 November 2017 - says the brand has changed beyond measure.
Tempted back by the range of career opportunities that exist within Westover Jaguar and a fast-track sales role, Grant – who had worked in recruitment during his time away from Westover – says he’d missed the variety and pace of life in the motor industry.
“Everything is very familiar but very different at the same time,” says Grant. “Jaguar’s a different brand now and there’s a stunning range of cars in the showroom with something to suit every lifestyle. When I left the XE had just been launched; now we’ve got the F-Pace and E-Pace taking us head to head with the German competition and bringing a whole new group of customers. The all-electric I-Pace joins us next year too.
“There’s been a lot of learning to do, getting up to speed with the range of cars, as well as the new processes implemented by Jaguar to improve customer service levels yet further.
“The opportunities that lie ahead are really exciting, especially with the move in mid-2018 to our stunning new showroom, shared with Westover Land Rover over in Christchurch. It’s going to be a great working environment and, more importantly, a really luxurious destination for Jaguar Land Rover customers.”
During his time with Jaguar Grant enjoyed enormous success. He was singled out for manufacturer sales awards on several occasions, including being named National Sales Specialist of the Year in 2014.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Grant back to Westover Jaguar,” said Andy Grant, Westover Jaguar Land Rover’s
Group Sales Operations Director. “He’s got a stellar track record and has always been immensely popular with staff and customers alike, plus he knows the Jaguar brand inside and out, so he’s a huge asset.
