Jaguar E-Pace Wows Crowds at Westover

More than 180 people flocked to Westover Jaguar last week to see the new Jaguar E-Pace, the manufacturer’s first compact SUV.

The stunning car was at the showroom for just six hours but will be on permanent display at Westover Jaguar from mid-November, when demonstrator models will also be available for anyone wishing to take a test drive.

Guests had a good chance to look around the E-PACE R-Dynamic HSE AWD, delivered directly from Jaguar’s headquarters in Coventry especially for the event, and were also treated to delicious snacks provided by Wimborne-based caterer, Sorrels.

“We were thrilled to have the chance to show the new E-Pace off to so many people,” said Andy Grant, Westover’s Group Sales Operations Director for Jaguar Land Rover. “It’s a stunning car and the feedback we received was fantastic. People of all ages, whether previous Jaguar owners or not, were clearly really impressed by what they saw.

“A good number of people liked the E-Pace enough to place an order there and then, with others coming back to us over the next few days to put their name down for one of the first cars. The fact that visitors were prepared to order the E-Pace before having a chance to drive it is a reflection of the confidence customers have in the consistent quality, inside and out, that Jaguar deliver every time.”

Westover Jaguar expects to deliver the first few Jaguar E-Paces to local owners who purchased at the showroom’s preview event in early January 2018.

The E-Pace is Jaguar’s second SUV and will be followed by a third, all-electric model in late 2018. It is smaller than its sibling, the F-Pace, but just as stylish. Step inside the five door, five seater and there’s a luxurious interior and bags of space. Most models come with all-wheel drive and a nine speed automatic gearbox.

To find out more about the E-Pace or to arrange a test drive, please visit or pop into the showroom.
