New Trio Join Team at Westover Hyundai in Salisbury

There’s a new trio in the Westover Hyundai showroom in Salisbury. Chris Venn and Jaime Bird have joined the sales team, whilst Emily Tozer has become host receptionist. All three joined the company following word-of-mouth recommendations.

Emily works front-of-house covering the service desk, as well as greeting customers and hosting them throughout their time in the showroom. Her role sees her booking vehicles in for service, MOT and general maintenance work, as well as liaising between the technicians and vehicle owners to ensure a smooth flow of information. Having previously worked at the Disney Store, Emily is no stranger to a busy retail environment. She moved back to Salisbury wanting to be close to her family.

“I was recommended to Westover by a friend of mine, who supplies the Group and has a high opinion of the company,” says Emily. “It’s worked out really well and although it’s a completely different environment for me, I’ve got to grips with the role quite quickly and I’m starting to take on other responsibilities. Westover’s proving to be just as good a company to work for as I was led to believe and everyone’s really friendly which helps enormously when you’re new!”

Both Chris and Jaime previously worked in sales positions for Virgin Media until the company relocated to Manchester. Chris joined Westover Hyundai first, having always harboured a passion for cars. He was also recommended to Westover by a friend already working within the Group, so he kept an eye on the website and pounced when he saw a position become available. He then encouraged Jaime to interview for a second position that became available.

“Looking back, I wish I’d made the leap into motoring earlier,” says Chris. “Hyundai’s delivering what a lot of local people are looking for from their motoring, so it’s a great place to be. It’s all about driving down the cost of driving and Hyundai is doing just that, thanks to its fuel efficient cars and its five year warranty.”

Jaime reports that the best-selling models at the moment are the cost-conscious city car, the i10, and the sturdy ix35, which is more than capable of taking on the region’s rural roads and comes with much more on-board equipment than its rivals in the same price bracket.

“We’re delighted to have such a great team in place at our Salisbury showroom,” adds Martin Hayward, Westover Hyundai’s brand manager. “They’re all perfectly in tune with Hyundai’s desire to deliver a relaxed and relevant customer experience at every stage of the process and there’s a fantastic atmosphere in the dealership. We wish them long and successful careers with the Westover Group.”
