Westover Hyundai Poole and Salisbury

Curvy and full of character, the ix20 was one of the first cars to feature Hyundai's "Fluidic Sculpture" design language, providing big car space and comfort with small car running costs. Don't compromise on quality or luxury, every drive should be comfortable and efficient, and that is exactly what the ix20 is. Expert design inside and out, everything you need is at your fingertips, the interior centre console is perfectly positioned so you can fully immerse yourself in the thrill of the drive.

New Hyundai ix20

One glance at the exterior of the Hyundai ix20 shows you that practicality needn’t come at the expense of style. Inside, airy space and a clever layout make the most of every centimetre. The rear seats can slide backwards and forwards and fold flat for total versatility. On Style models, a panoramic sunroof lets natural light flood in, and you can tilt or slide back the front panel at the touch of a button.

Hyundai have made the ix20 a comfortable interior with a soft touch feel dashboard and a intuitive centre console which has been located right at your finger tips for better functionality. With the height of the car and the clever layout of the ix20 there is plenty of space of everyone to get in and be comfortable and stretch out.

New Hyundai ix20 Dash

The Hyundai ix20 is made for the family, so its five-star EuroNCAP rating is an essential. It's fitted with six airbags including front, front side and curtain bags, plus reassuring active safety features such as ABS with Electronic Brake force Distribution and an Electronic Stability Programme. On Active and Style models, you can enjoy Bluetooth connectivity with voice recognition, which also lets you stream music from a compatible phone.

The Hyundai ix20 features a range of three exceptional engines. A 1.4-litre petrol engine is available on Classic, Active and Style models which delivers a lively 90PS. Classic models can also be powered by the 1.4-litre CRDi 90PS diesel engine, while Active and Style can be specified with the powerful 1.6-litre CRDi 115PS diesel or a 1.6-litre petrol with smooth automatic transmission. In every case, the key word is efficiency. The 1.4-litre CRDi, for example, can return 62.8 MPG combined and CO2 emissions of 119g/km, while the 1.6-litre CRDi delivers 64.2 MPG and emits just 117g/km of CO2 – that means zero road tax for the first year. Part of the 1.6 CRDi’s amazing performance is down to Blue Drive technology, which includes Intelligent Stop & Go. This saves on fuel and CO2 by switching off the engine when you come to a halt, then restarting again as soon as you depress the clutch and are ready to go.
