As a Sales Advisor you will guide each customer through their purchase from picking the most suitable model, arranging test drives and setting up finance options to the all important handover once the car has been delivered to the showroom.

Full training will be given through our bespoke sales induction programme so you don’t have to have prior experience in the motor industry. Sales Manager

We are looking for a New Car Sales Manager to join our Jaguar team in Christchurch.

The Role

As a Sales Manager you will lead, motivate, manage and drive your team to provide customer service excellence, whilst delivering against our key performance indicators. You will relish the opportunity to take responsibility for the presentation of the showroom and also build and maintain strong relationships with our valued brand partners.

Within the role of Sales Manager you will work closely with other departments and will be hands on with the day to day running of the site, to achieve the highest standards set by the Group and our brand partners at Jaguar. Alongside your customer-focused attitude, you will be commercially minded, passionate about automotive retailing and motivated by setting and exceeding targets.

Your responsibilities

  • Work alongside your Brand Director to achieve and exceed the business aims and objectives;
  • Input fully to the Jaguar marketing strategy;
  • Unleash the potential of the sales team by setting objectives and providing regular feedback on performance against these objectives;
  • Resource the sales team appropriately on a day to day and longer term basis, with a quality that is consistent with the Westover Group;
  • Maintain good relationships with our brand partners;
  • Ensure compliance is enforced and it meets all the obligations relating to the customer experience and manufacturer’s standards within the sales operation;
  • Have a full understanding of manufacturer targets ensuring the team are maximising every opportunity;
  • Encourage the sales team to review, maintain and follow processes, ensuring they are working in the most efficient way;
  • Inspire the sales team to deliver at the highest level of customer satisfaction; and
  • Manage the consistent delivery of all day to day brand and Group compliance.

To be a success in this role you will need

  • A proven track record in sales within a dealership;
  • The ability to lead by example, manage and inspire the team to consistently exceed our customer satisfaction, volume and profitability objectives;
  • Strong communication, organisational and negotiation skills with a high level of self motivation;
  • Ability to comply with SAF qualifications and FCA regulations; and
  • A full UK Driving Licence.

Working hours

Core hours for our Sales Managers are typically 8.00am to 6.00pm, with the requirements to work weekends.

Your responsibilities

  • Maximise every sales opportunity to achieve vehicle sales and profit targets

Sales Administrator

Westover Group is looking for an experienced Sales Administrator to join their team at Renault Fiat Hyundai in Wallisdown.

The role

Working alongside the Operations Manager, Head of Service and Sales Managers, our Sales Administrators are an integral and important support to the broader Sales teams, responsible for all of the administration associated with our detailed customer sales processes. You must be a well organised individual with outstanding administration, numeracy and literacy skills.

To be successful in this role you will have

  • Excellent time management skills and be able to prioritise your workload to meet tight deadlines to support our extremely successful sales team;
  • Previous motor industry, admin-based background or retail knowledge (preferable) however full training, specific to the role, will be provided.

Your responsibilities

  • Ordering vehicles to customer specification within given time frames;
  • Allocating registration numbers and ensuring all vehicles are taxed ensuring full support of local Government legislation under the registration code and period;
  • Preparing, monitoring, raising and analysing sales invoices, stock records, orders and deliveries;
  • Collating order, finance and warranty paperwork guaranteeing all documents are accurate;
  • Providing correspondence to the sales team, manufacturer or customer as and when required.

Working hours

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm. Some flexibility will be required in our peak trading periods of March and September.

Handover Specialist

The role

We are looking for an experienced Handover Specialist to join our team at Jaguar Land Rover in Christchurch. You will be interacting with our valued customers at the time they collect their new vehicle from the showroom. Working within our own defined targets, we require an individual with a high degree of hands-on, customer care experience, preferably gained in a retail environment.

To be a success in this role you will have:

  • A ‘Customer First’ focus and philosophy;
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills;
  • Computer literacy with accurate administration skills;
  • The ability to demonstrate you are adaptable, with an excellent ability to build rapport and communicate with our customers; and
  • A full driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the handover process for all new and used vehicles ensuring all paperwork is completed prior to the vehicle being collected;
  • Liaising with customers to confirm their handover appointment and keeping them up to date with the progress of their order;
  • Checking orders and ensuring any accessories are fitted by the Service department ahead of collection;
  • Providing a comprehensive explanation of the car’s features and assisting with the set up of any internal systems if requested;
  • Carrying out follow up calls with customers and responding to any queries once the customer has taken ownership of the vehicle; and
  • Ensuring all customer feedback is captured and reported to the Brand Management Team.

Hours of Work

Typically your hours will be Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm, and alternate Saturday mornings 8.00am to 1.00pm.

The Role

As a Business Manager you will be responsible for growing and developing the sales of Finance and Insurance products across the relevant brand (Toyota / Alfa Rome Jeep) and territory (Bournemouth / Christchurch).

You will need to possess:

  • Identify the most appropriate finance, warranty and insurance packages for all customers, ensuring they understand the options clearly whilst also maximising profit;
  • Check the credit status of each customer and propose the customer to finance providers;
  • Maintain contact with customers throughout the application process, answering any questions and resolving any problems;
  • Work with the Head of Business to develop campaigns and incentives to promote financial products and services to maximise profitability;
  • Ensure accurate completion of all documentation, prompt collection of outstanding payments and safe handling of all transactions; and
  • Meet all compliance obligations under the FCA.
