Sales Manager

We are looking for a dynamic, experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Christchurch:

  • Jaguar (New Car) - Jaguar Land Rover Christchurch

The Role

As a Sales Manager you will lead, motivate, manage and drive your team to provide customer service excellence, whilst delivering against our key performance indicators. You will relish the opportunity to take responsibility for the presentation of the showroom and also build and maintain strong relationships with our valued brand partners.

Within the role of Sales Manager you will work closely with other departments and will be hands on with the day to day running of the site, to achieve the highest standards set by the Group and our brand partners. Alongside your customer-focused attitude, you will be commercially minded, passionate about automotive retailing and motivated by setting and exceeding targets.

Your responsibilities

  • Work alongside your Brand Director to achieve and exceed the business aims and objectives;
  • Input fully to the relevant brand's marketing strategy;
  • Unleash the potential of the sales team by setting objectives and providing regular feedback on performance against these objectives;
  • Resource the sales team appropriately on a day to day and longer term basis, with a quality that is consistent with the Westover Group;
  • Maintain good relationships with our brand partners;
  • Ensure compliance is enforced and it meets all the obligations relating to the customer experience and manufacturer’s standards within the sales operation;
  • Have a full understanding of manufacturer targets ensuring the team are maximising every opportunity;
  • Encourage the sales team to review, maintain and follow processes, ensuring they are working in the most efficient way;
  • Inspire the sales team to deliver at the highest level of customer satisfaction; and
  • Manage the consistent delivery of all day to day brand and Group compliance.

To be a success in this role you will need

  • A proven track record in sales within a dealership;
  • The ability to lead by example, manage and inspire the team to consistently exceed our customer satisfaction, volume and profitability objectives;
  • Strong communication, organisational and negotiation skills with a high level of self motivation;
  • Ability to comply with SAF qualifications and FCA regulations; and
  • A full UK Driving Licence.

Working hours

Core hours for our Sales Managers are typically 8.00am to 6.00pm, with the requirement to work weekends.

Business Manager

Westover Group have some exciting opportunities for Business (Transaction) Managers to join their teams at Toyota Bournemouth and Alfa Rome Jeep Christchurch.

The Role

As a Business Manager you will be responsible for growing and developing the sales of Finance and Insurance products across the relevant brand (Toyota / Alfa Rome Jeep) and territory (Bournemouth / Christchurch).

You will need to possess:

  • A proven track record in sales
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate at all levels
  • A thorough understanding of financial and insurance product regulations, although full training will be given
  • Motivation to consistently exceed customer satisfaction and profitability objectives
  • FCA accreditation
  • Full driving licence

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify the most appropriate finance, warranty and insurance packages for all customers, ensuring they understand the options clearly whilst also maximising profit;
  • Check the credit status of each customer and propose the customer to finance providers;
  • Maintain contact with customers throughout the application process, answering any questions and resolving any problems;
  • Work with the Head of Business to develop campaigns and incentives to promote financial products and services to maximise profitability;
  • Ensure accurate completion of all documentation, prompt collection of outstanding payments and safe handling of all transactions; and
  • Meet all compliance obligations under the FCA.
