Customer Care and Ownership Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity working with the largest privately-owned motoring group in the south of England.

Reporting in to the Brand Manager, your primary focus will be to ensure customers receive superb levels of service, in line with brand expectations.

The role will require someone who is passionate about delivering excellent levels of customer service, who can mentor and coach their team on a daily basis, and be proactive to ensure the department anticipates the needs and demands of customer's.

This role will be based at Westover Jaguar Land Rover Christchurch

Responsibilities in the Role:

  • Driving the commercial performance of the after sales department to ensure delivery of budget operating contribution;
  • Westover Dealer Process Improvement – the consistent experience delivery through the SA team of the Westover Group DPI – incorporating booking, D-1, arrival, update call and handover;
  • Service 6 - pro-active planning based on verbatim and scores to ensure the delivery of sustainable improvement in ‘6’ metrics and NET Promoter Score;
  • Experience Follow Up – ensuring regular interaction with our after sales experience call centre to review customer commentary and create actions in conjunction with the daily review of the brand satisfaction portal;
  • Create after sales contingency plans covering resource and capacity;
  • Manage all expressions of dissatisfaction received by the business (covering after sales and vehicle quality) delivering commercial resolution for the business;
  • Manage voice of the customer and after sales Red Flag Programme;
  • The singular point of contact for general questions from customers relating to ownership questions.

  • About You:

  • You need to have a minimum of 2-years experience in a Service / Aftersales Manager position within the motor trade.
  • Ideally you will have Main Dealership experience.
  • You will need to be a 'leader' of people and an ambassador for the brand and dealer group
  • Can demonstrate a stable career path
  • Someone is very willing to help and support their team - working as part of a small team you will need to be flexible in your daily approach.
  • To have a valid driving licence

  • Hours and Salary:

    Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm and Saturday mornings 8am – 1pm

    £35,000 - £40,000 Depending on Experience

    1 in 4 Saturdays, unless business requirements need other wise

    Business Development Manager

    Westover Toyota are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team in a role that will see them take responsibility for the growth of business sector sales.

    The role will be based at our Bournemouth dealership on Wallisdown Road, focusing on building client relationships and generating business sales throughout Dorset and Wiltshire. You will be working closely with dedicated manufacturer support and report into our Head of Corporate Sales.

    To be a success in this role, you will:

    • Have experience of dealing with fleet and commercial customers and have a proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets on a monthly basis;
    • Possess excellent negotiation skills and be confident and approachable;
    • Manage and make your own appointments;
    • Not be afraid to cold call, both face to face and via phone;
    • Be self motivated with the drive to grow our network;
    • Be well organised, tenacious and have excellent communication skills; and
    • Hold a full, valid driving license.

    Responsibilities

    • Achieve agreed sales targets for new vehicles, within defined operating and financial guidelines;
    • Maintain good relationships with existing customers, and establish new sales contacts and opportunities within the business sector;
    • Ensure exceptional levels of customer care and professionalism are achieved at all times;
    • Design and present tailored packages to each business user in order to meet specific requirements and enhance customer satisfaction; and
    • Work effectively within the Dealership team, ensuring industry-leading standards of customer care and satisfaction at all times.

    Transaction Manager

    Westover Group has an exciting opportunity for a Transaction Manager to join their team in Salisbury.

    The role:

    As a Transaction Manager you will be responsible for growing and developing the Sales of Finance and Insurance products across our brands in Salisbury.

    You will need to possess:

    • A proven track record in sales
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate at all levels
    • A thorough understanding of financial and insurance product regulations, although full training will be given
    • Motivation to consistently exceed customer satisfaction and profitability objectives
    • FCA accreditation
    • Full Driving Licence

    Your responsibilities:

    • Identify the most appropriate finance, warranty and insurance packages for all customers, ensuring they understand the options clearly whilst also maximising profit
    • Check the credit status of each customer and recommend the customer to finance providers
    • Maintain contact with customers throughout the application process, answering any questions and resolving any problems
    • Work with the Heads of Business to develop campaigns and incentives to promote financial products and services to maximise profitability
    • Ensure accurate completion of all documentation, prompt collection of outstanding payments and safe handling of all transactions
    • Meet all compliance obligations under the FCA
