Bodyshop Manager

We are looking for an experienced Bodyshop Manager to lead our team of highly skilled professionals at our kite mark approved Bodycare bodyshop in Salisbury. As well as being a good technical lead, the successful applicant will have the company’s and team’s best interests at heart, whilst being a great communicator and inspiring manager.

Working directly under the Group Bodyshop Manager, and in charge of a team of 7, this is a great role perfect for someone with a strong background in a busy and pressurised bodyshop environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maximising profitability;
  • Maintaining quality control;
  • Leading and developing the team;
  • Maintaining and overseeing staffing requirements against workload to ensure high work levels;
  • Monitoring processes, to ensure all team members are aware of any process changes; and
  • Inspecting work to ensure all processes meet the required standards.

To be a success in this role, you will have

  • Proven track record as a Workshop Controller / Bodyshop Controller / Supervisor within a Bodyshop environment (essential);
  • An excellent automotive, accident repair and bodyshop background – experience of working in the repair industry is essential;
  • 3 to 5 years experience in the body repair of motor vehicles;
  • Strong customer service skills and experience;
  • The ability to assess and report on staff performance;
  • Ideally, have some estimating knowledge; and
  • Technical qualifications and an up to date knowledge of consumer and vehicle legislation.

Working hours

Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.30pm, and alternate Saturday mornings 8.00am to 12.00pm

Sales Manager

We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our team in Wallisdown.

The Role

As a Sales Manager you will lead, motivate, manage and drive your team to provide customer service excellence, whilst delivering against our key performance indicators. You will relish the opportunity to take responsibility for the presentation of the showroom and also build and maintain strong relationships with our valued brand partners.

Within the role of Sales Manager you will work closely with other departments and will be hands on with the day to day running of the site, to achieve the highest standards set by the Group and our brand partners. Alongside your customer-focused attitude, you will be commercially minded, passionate about automotive retailing and motivated by setting and exceeding targets.

Your responsibilities:

  • Work alongside your Brand Manager and/or Head of Business to achieve and exceed the business aims and objectives;
  • You will have a desire to input fully into the Brand marketing strategy;
  • Unleash the potential of the sales team by setting objectives and providing regular feedback on performance against these objectives;
  • Resource the sales team appropriately on a day to day and longer term basis, with a quality that is consistent with the Westover Group;
  • Maintain good relationships with our brand partners;
  • Ensure compliance is enforced and it meets all the obligations relating to the customer experience and manufacturer’s standards within the sales operation;
  • Have a full understanding of manufacturer targets ensuring the team are maximising every opportunity;
  • Encourage the sales team to review, maintain and follow processes, ensuring that they are working in the most efficient way;
  • Inspire the sales team to deliver at the highest level of customer satisfaction; and
  • Manage the consistent delivery of all day to day brand and Group compliance.

To be a success in this role you will need:

  • A proven track record in sales within a dealership;
  • The ability to lead by example, manage and inspire the team to consistently exceed our customer satisfaction, volume and profitability objectives;
  • Strong communication, organisational and negotiation skills with a high level of self motivation;
  • Ability to comply with SAF qualifications and FCA regulations; and
  • A full UK Driving Licence.

Working hours

Core hours for our Sales Managers are typically 8.00am to 6.00pm, with the requirements to work weekends.

Transaction Manager

Westover Group have some exciting opportunities for Transaction Managers to join their teams in Christchurch and Salisbury:

The Role

As a Transaction Manager you will be responsible for growing and developing the Sales of Finance and Insurance products across the relevant brand.

You will need to possess:

  • A proven track record in sales
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate at all levels
  • A thorough understanding of financial and insurance product regulations although full training will be given
  • Motivation to consistently exceed customer satisfaction and profitability objectives
  • FCA accreditation
  • Full Driving Licence

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify the most appropriate finance, warranty and insurance packages for all customers, ensuring they understand the options clearly whilst also maximising profit
  • Check the credit status of each customer and propose the customer to finance providers
  • Maintain contact with customers throughout the application process, answering any questions and resolving any problems.
  • Work with the Head of Business to develop campaigns and incentives to promote financial products and services to maximise profitability
  • Ensure accurate completion of all documentation, prompt collection of outstanding payments and safe handling of all transactions
  • Meet all compliance obligations under the FCA
