Driver / Service Washer

We are looking for a Driver / Service Washer to join our Westover Jaguar Land Rover team in Christchurch.

You will maintain the highest level of customer care and satisfaction at all times by ensuring customer vehicles are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard.

Responsibilities

• Thorough cleaning of all allocated service vehicles prior to customer handover;
• Responding to customer satisfaction results;
• Ensuring the valeting bay is clean and free from obstructions at all times;
• Parking repaired/serviced cars in the car park in preparation for collection or delivery;
• Informing manager of any delays in completing work schedule;
• Ensuring the safety and security of people, vehicles and property at all times, reporting any known faults or hazards; and
• Developing and maintaining effective communication with all work customers, colleagues and visitors to the dealership.

To be a success in this role, you will have

• An interest in the automotive market;
• The ability to effectively communicate information and issues;
• A professional approach, able to satisfy and meet customer expectations at all times;
• Excellent capacity to organise own workload effectively, prioritising to meet deadlines. You will cope well when deadlines change, reprioritising the workload;
• A good understanding of the need to protect yourself and others through strict adherence to relevant health and safety requirements; and
• A full UK driving licence.

Working hours

Monday to Friday 7.30am to 6pm, and some Saturday mornings on a rota (8am to 1pm)

Sales Administrator

Westover Group are looking for an experienced Sales Administrator to join their team at Jaguar Land Rover in Christchurch.

The role

Working alongside the Operations Manager, Head of Service and Sales Managers, our Sales Administrators are an integral and important support to the broader Sales teams, responsible for all of the administration associated with our detailed customer sales processes. You must be a well organised individual with outstanding administration, numeracy and literacy skills.

To be successful in this role you will have

  • Excellent time management skills and be able to prioritise your workload to meet tight deadlines to support our extremely successful sales team;
  • Previous motor industry, admin-based background or retail knowledge (preferable) however full training, specific to the role, will be provided.

Your responsibilities

  • Ordering vehicles to customer specification within given time frames;
  • Allocating registration numbers and ensuring all vehicles are taxed ensuring full support of local Government legislation under the registration code and period;
  • Preparing, monitoring, raising and analysing sales invoices, stock records, orders and deliveries;
  • Collating order, finance and warranty paperwork guaranteeing all documents are accurate;
  • Providing correspondence to the sales team, manufacturer or customer as and when required.

Working hours

Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays 8.30am to 5.30pm (MATERNITY COVER) - full time hours will be considered for the right candidate

Some flexibility will be required in our peak trading periods of March and September.

SALES ADVISOR

The Role

As a Sales Advisor you will be an ambassador for Jaguar Land Rover, as well as the Westover Group where we pride ourselves on delivering an impeccable customer experience 100% of the time. Our Sales Advisors demonstrate exquisite levels of customer service by providing a knowledgeable, efficient and attentive service, showcasing the unique features of the cars they are selling and guiding each customer through the sales process flawlessly.

Alongside this our Sales Advisors strive to achieve all set objectives and maximise every sales opportunity. Their negotiation and influencing skills help to build positive and professional relationships with our customers to ensure long term sustainability of the business.

Whilst a background in sales is helpful, it is not essential and we welcome applications from individuals with transferable skills including retail sales, Call Centres, Estate Agencies, Banking and Financial Services.

Your responsibilities

  • Maximise every sales opportunity to achieve vehicle sales and profit targets
  • Proactively prospect new and existing customers to maintain your database and ensure repeat business
  • Build rapport with customers, accurately assess their needs and recommend the most suitable products and services
  • Create and coordinate customer appointments, schedule test drives and arrange handover appointments
  • Support the Sales Administrators with accurately processing all documentation relating to vehicle sales including vehicle orders and finance agreements

What makes an exceptional Sales Advisor?

  • A proven record of achieving targets and a determination to overachieve
  • Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to communicate credibly with our customers and your colleagues
  • Ability to work under pressure and confident taking individual responsibility for contributing to the success of the sales team
  • Good administration and diary management skills
  • Knowledge of FCA regulations is desirable but not essential as training will be given
  • Full Driving Licence.

Technician

Following a £7.5 million investment building the UK’s largest JLR Aftersales facility, there has never been a better time to join Westover Jaguar Land Rover.

Due to expansion, we are currently recruiting for one Technician to join our established and experienced workshop team in Christchurch.

The Role

As a Technician you will need to achieve the highest standards in customer service through delivery of an exceptional technical performance. You will be working on both customer and Westover owned vehicles and will deliver an always right first time service.

You will be able to work to efficiency and productivity targets, run diagnostics, resolve faults, suggest and make improvements and support the broader workshop team.

Our ambition is to ensure you exceed your potential, excel in your delivery and meet your career aspirations so our policy is one of continuous training. We want all Technicians to achieve Master Technician level so a commitment to ongoing and regular training is an absolute prerequisite.

To be a success in this role, you will possess

  • The knowledge to use modern diagnostic equipment

  • Maintain high standards of house-keeping
  • Prior experience of working to efficiency targets
  • Full Driving Licence
  • Main dealer experience preferable but not essential

  • Time served or hold NVQ qualifications to Level 3

Working hours

Our Jaguar Land Rover Technicians work a shift pattern covering 4 days a week, 7.00am to 6.00pm.

Workshop Controller

Westover Jaguar Land Rover is looking for an experienced Workshop Controller to join their team on Bailey Drive, Christchurch. You will join a successful Workshop Control team, leading 22 Technicians.

The Role

As the Workshop Controller you will be responsible for ensuring all servicing and repairs are carried out effectively to achieve the highest possible ‘right- first-time’ standards for technical quality, whilst optimising workshop efficiency. Working closely with the General Aftersales Manager, you will also be responsible for ensuring maximum productivity out of the workshop.

You will be required to demonstrate a time-served career and hold the appropriate qualifications to demonstrate your achievements at the highest level within a technical capacity.

To be a success in this role, you will possess:

  • Technical knowledge and qualifications gained through prior experience as a senior technician or Workshop Controller;
  • Computer literacy with a strong numerical ability;
  • Good leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive the workshop team;
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills to ensure timely completion of repairs and servicing work, whilst communicating regularly with the Service Advisor team;
  • Outstanding planning skills; and
  • A full driving licence.

Your responsibilities

  • Appropriately allocate work, fully recognising the skill level and experience of each Technician in the team;
  • Monitor progress of repairs and servicing to ensure they are completed on time, and communicate any delays;
  • Regular daily checks making sure capacity is met and additional work accommodated;
  • Ensure quality checks are carried out as per the company and Brand guidelines;
  • Liaise with the other members of the workshop control team regarding parts orders, time required and testing procedures; and
  • Support, monitor and give feedback on Technicians’ quality and efficiency.

Working hours

Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm and Saturdays on a rota 8.00am to 1.00pm
