As a result of accreditation from the brands we represent, we enjoy significant volumes of group business. Alongside this we have negotiated a large number of external insurance contracts meaning Westover Body care is one of the largest independent accident repair centres across Dorset and Wiltshire.

Customer Experience Manager

Westover Bodycare is looking for a Customer Experience Manager to join their team in Poole.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet all customers
  • Organise the reception and front of house team, ensuring all calls are answered promptly and professionally and customers receive a warm and friendly welcome when they arrive at the Accident Repair Centre
  • Arrange courtesy vehicles on request
  • Provide progress updates to customers when their vehicle is in our care
  • Liaising with insurance companies regarding repair costs and payment
  • Ensure customer payments are correctly received in full before vehicle handover
  • Complete all customer handovers ensuring that all work completed meets the customer’s expectations
  • Resolve customer complaints in a professional and efficient manner

What we're looking for:

  • Experience of managing customer experience and proven customer service skills
  • Experience of working in a bodyshop or accident repair centre
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload
  • Capable of building excellent working relationships with both your colleagues and third parties

Working hours

Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota 8am to 12pm

Vehicle Damage Assessor

The role

Our kite mark approved BodyCare bodyshop in Poole is looking for a Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their busy team.

To be a success in this role you will have:

  • A thorough and methodological approach;
  • Previous knowledge of vehicle damage assessment within a bodyshop or accident repair centre;
  • An ATA accredited qualification (preferable but not essential); and
  • A full UK driving licence.

Your responsibilities

  • You will be required to carry out vehicle assessments including the selection of correct repair methods; and production of accurate estimates for repair work, making allowances for relevant materials, parts and paint types;
  • Calculate the time required to complete all necessary work;
  • Liaise with customers to ensure excellent customer service is delivered; and
  • Work to deadlines.

Working hours

Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, and Saturday mornings 8am to 12pm on a rota (1 in 4).

SMART Repairer

The role

Due to the expansion of our SMART operations across the Group, we are currently looking to recruit SMART Repairers for our specialist operations at the following locations:

• Newly launched, fully sized, state-of-the-art SMART Pod Oven on site at Jaguar Land Rover Christchurch, Bailey Drive
• Group Bodycare bodyshop, Wallisdown Road

You will need to be fully skilled and have previous bodyshop experience. You will carry out preparation, local paintwork, light filling repairs, windscreen repairs and cosmetic refurbishing of road wheels on all makes of vehicles to the highest standard, whilst meeting deadlines and targets set by the Bodyshop Manager.

To be a success in this role you will have

• Bodyshop or SMART Repair experience (essential);
• The ability to offer a high-volume fast-paced service while maintaining exceptional standards;
• Experience preparing and refinishing vehicles to a high standard, using all the latest products and equipment;
• Excellent working knowledge of paint mixing, repairs, masking, painting, polishing and alloy wheel refurbishment;
• A flexible and ‘can do’ approach to work;
• The ability to work on your own initiative; and
• A full UK driving licence.

Your responsibilities

• Repairing minor accident damage to panels and alloy wheels, painting, lacquering and finishing, and all other minor cosmetic repairs in our bodyshop;
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy; and
• You will be responsible for your own health and safety and that of others around you.

Working hours

Our SMART Repairers work a flexible 45-hour week, typically covering Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm.

Paint Sprayer

The role

We are currently looking to recruit a Paint Sprayer at our manufacturer-approved BodyCare bodyshop in Poole (Accident Repair Centre, Witney Road, Nuffield Industrial Estate). You will be paint spraying vehicles to the highest standard, whilst meeting deadlines and targets set by the Bodyshop Manager:

To be a success in this role you will be able to

• Observe, recognise and report on vehicle paintwork;
• Carry out paint spraying on all brands of vehicle to the highest of standards;
• Work within a team and on your own; and
• Drive, with a full driving licence.

Your responsibilities

• Accurately use paint mixing schemes, computerised scales, spray booths and drying lamps;
• Interpret and implement technical service method data;
• Keep work areas clean and tidy;
• Apply top coat in line with manufacturer's specifications;
• Prepare repaired areas as directed by work orders, in readiness for application of the top coat; and
• You will be responsible for your own health and safety and others around you.

Working hours

Our Paint Sprayers work a flexible 45-hour week, typically covering Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm, with some Saturdays on a rota.
