4x4 Oil Change
If you've got a 4x4 vehicle then you'll know just how impressive our haldex system is, automatically apllying four wheel drive when it's needed.
Just like your engine the Haldex system needs a good oil supply to keep all its moving parts lubricated, so regular checks on the quality and level of oil in you car's system is vital.
How often?
If your Skoda is a 4x4 we recommend that the Haldex oil (and filter, where applicable) is changed every 40,000 miles. If you drive an Octavia 1 we recommend a Haldex oil change every 20,000 miles or two years, with a filter change very 40,000 miles (for petrol engines) or 60,000 miles (for diesel engines).
The details
Our Haldex system service includes:
- Evacuate oil
- Replace filter (where applicable)
- Re-fill with Skoda Approved oil
- Visual check of drive shaft couplings
- Record in service book
