Local disabled drivers are invited to visit Westover Nissan in Bournemouth or Salisbury on Saturday 19th August when the showrooms are hosting special events to help people find out more about Motability, the charity which gets disabled people (and their families) mobile.
Visitors will be able to see the new 2017 models of the ever-popular Micra and Qashqai, both available on the Motability Scheme.
The Motability Scheme allows anyone eligible for the DLA Higher Rate or PIP Enhanced Rate element of the Government mobility allowance to exchange it for a new car, including the two latest models to join the line-up – the Micra, a stunning city-car with a completely new look, and the Qashqai, the ultimate urban crossover. Both are practical cars, packed with safety features and invaluable driving aids, as well as high tech connectivity and sound systems.
Additionally, there’s a reduction of up to 24 per cent on a new Nissan for the family of Motability members and a £100 reward for any existing Motability customer who refers another person to Westover Nissan.
The award-winning on-site team - led in Bournemouth by Motability award-winner, John Jupp - will be on hand to offer any help visitors may need, including answering questions about eligibility, adaptations and the suitability of particular cars.
Westover Nissan in Bournemouth is officially the best car showroom in the south for Motability customers. The Wallisdown Road team recently won their fifth Motability award in two years, securing their place as the only multi-award winning Motability dealership between Land’s End and London - an area which includes 730 Motability-registered car dealerships.
All the cars currently available from Nissan on the Motability Scheme will be on show and many are available simply by ‘swapping’ the mobility allowance for the car – at no extra cost. Even the costs for insurance, maintenance and breakdown cover are included, so with many models there’s simply the forecourt fuel charges to pay. It’s an affordable, worry-free way to lease a brand new car.
Motability, the UK’s leading car scheme for disabled people, allows people eligible for the Government funded mobility allowance to exchange it for a new vehicle. Motability cars are available on a fixed or variable-term contract-hire lease, which includes insurance, tax, routine servicing and breakdown assistance. Vehicles are serviced annually and changed every three years.
Westover Nissan’s Motability Charter gives customers in Bournemouth and Salisbury access to VIP treatment, including home sales appointments, a phone-ahead ‘meet-and-greet’ service, vehicle collection and delivery, while-you-wait appointments and six free car washes a year (subject to booking).
