What Car? Announces Top Four Small New Cars Under £10,000

Three in Top Ten are Westover Models

What Car? has announced its top four new small cars under £10,000 – and the list includes three models within the Westover stable. The Hyundai i10 tops the table, with the Skoda Citigo and Dacia Sandero in third and fourth places respectively.

"The choices made by the What Car? team reflect those of our customers across Dorset and Wiltshire," comments Paul Dillon, Westover Group Joint Managing Director. "These three vehicles are amongst our most popular cars – and we have around 150 different models available within the Group, so that's no small achievement.

"We represent some really strong brands at Westover and are able to offer car buyers a diverse range at all price points, from small city cars like the ones nominated by What Car?, through to large family estates, MPVs, SUVs and 4x4s. We have our fair share of premium brands but we also have 'shockingly affordable' ones too.

"The Hyundai i10 was What Car?'s City Car of the Year 2014 and is awarded a maximum five star rating. "Clever packaging means that the i10 is the most practical car in its class and the 1.0 Premium gets five doors, five seats and a bigger boot than all its rivals," says What Car?, commenting on the reasons for the i10's win. "It's also very quiet and well equipped."

Utilising the same chassis, gearbox and engine as the VW Up, the Skoda Citigo represents excellent value for money. The Dacia Sandero, the cheapest new car currently available, costs from just £6,795. It has plenty of room inside for four adults, with What Car? commending its "phenomenal space and practicality for the money". Both cars get four out of five stars in the What Car? ratings..

Westover has Hyundai, Skoda and Dacia showrooms in both Bournemouth and Salisbury.
