Loyal customers and committed coffee drinkers helped Westover Group raise more than £4,400 for Macmillan Cancer Support this year.
Over 300 cups of tea and coffee were drunk in Westover’s showrooms on Friday 29th September, the day of Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning annual fundraising event.
Anyone who visited one of Westover’s 24 showrooms in Dorset or Wiltshire on the day was greeted by an amazing array of home-made cakes and treats, as well as hot and cold drinks, all provided by showroom staff.
Some of Westover’s teams also ran other fundraising initiatives, including tombolas and raffles, and Westover Nissan in Bournemouth made an extra donation for every service customer who opted to drive an electric vehicle as a courtesy car.
Thanks to the continued backing of local people, Westover has been able to donate more £22,000 to Macmillan in the last five years.
“There’s such a tremendous level of support for Macmillan amongst our teams and our customers, and it’s great to see the showrooms turned into thriving coffee shops for the morning,” says Paul Dillon, Westover Group Managing Director.
