Scarecrow Archie Joins Six of Westover's Showrooms at Gillingham and Shaftesbury Show

Westover Group took cars from six of its 16 manufacturer brands along to Gillingham and Shaftesbury Show. Joining the Westover team on the day was scarecrow, Archie, carefully crafted by Westover Marketing Communications Officer, Suzy Otton.

The annual show took place on Wednesday 17th August at the Turnpike Showground, just outside Shaftesbury. It is one of the largest agricultural shows in the south and is attended by around 24,000 people. This year saw a record number of trade exhibitors, a great range of family attractions (dancing diggers, ferret and terrier racing, birds of prey and sheep dogs) and a full range of competitive classes. There is also an Education Area, showing how milk, meat and grain are produced on local farms, and a Food Hall, selling the finest quality food and drink (including breads, local wines and cheeses).

The Scarecrow Trail saw exhibitors making a scarecrow to represent their business, with visitors select their favourites.

Westover Land Rover took four of its iconic vehicles to the show including a Range Rover Vogue SE, two Range Rovers (a Range Rover Evoque and an Evoque Convertible) and a Discovery Sport. The line up was joined by three of Jaguar's most striking cars - the F-Pace, the XE R-Sport and the XF S. Also on the Westover stand were the funky Fiat 500X, the Renault Megane, Dacia Duster and Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit.
