Westover Spins a New Web 

Group's New Website goes Live

Whether you’re a silver surfer or simply surfing for a silver car, our new website makes finding your next vehicle, or booking a service, MOT or tyre change easier than ever.

The new website includes the two latest manufacturers to join the Westover stable – Dacia and Hyundai – bringing the total number of brands represented by the Westover Group online (and across the region) to 14.

The site’s search facility has been improved, meaning that visitors can quickly and easily find used approved vehicles from more than 500 held in stock at Westover’s dealerships in Dorset and Wiltshire. New cars are listed by brand - with descriptions, the latest offers, video clips and online test driving booking forms available for each model.

For the first time, customers can book appointments online, including services and MOTs. It’s also possible, simply by keying in your car registration number, to identify the cost and availability of a range of different tyres. Just select the tyres that suit your budget, your preferred Westover location and a date and time convenient to you. Fitting, balancing and tyre disposal are all included in the price.

The recruitment section of the site has been enhanced, with all current job opportunities listed. Around 550 people are now employed by the Group and a small selection of our current team members are profiled online. Anyone interested in finding out more about working with Westover can check out the range of roles on offer, as well as what they involve.

“This site has been under development for a number of months and has been re-built on an entirely new platform,” says Mark Whittam, Westover’s Digital Marketing Manager. “The work represents a significant investment, but it’s given us a great opportunity to develop new online features which will improve our customers’ experience of the Group. The priority is always to build accessibility and service levels, but the enhancements also bring us the added benefit of being a step ahead of the competition.

“Our website attracts around 1,000 new visitors each month, with over 38,000 visits in May 2012, so it’s become an integral and dynamic part of our business and we’re always on the look-out for ways to innovate and improve. We plan to develop our online offering still further in the future, so we can make sure that we stay bang up-to-date with the services our customers want. Watch this space!”
