Westover Sportscars Gets a Sting in its Tail

Westover Sportscars is proud to become one of just 10 dealerships nationwide to sell Abarth's new high performance vehicles.

The brand, best known for its racing heritage and distinctive scorpion logo, is back on track, doing what it does best- producing cars which pack a punch.

The Grande Punto Abarth, launched earlier this year, is the first in a series of high performance model launches. The Abarth 500 will follow hot on its heels and is due to make its first appearance on UK soil in the autumn. Each model will be produced in low volumes to preserve its exclusivity and comes badged with the Abarth logo. The brand offers high-performance modifications - such as a stiffer, lower suspension, upgraded brakes, and a power boost facility - making its vehicles genuinely different from its sister manufacturer, Fiat.

"This is not just about adding stripes and upgrading the tyres," says Chris Amey, Sales Manager. "These new cars are made to a different specification and at a separate site from their Fiat forerunners. There's no doubting Abarth's long and prestigious heritage - the company's expertise is clearly evident in the thoroughly modern design of these latest models, as well as in the calibre of their technical enhancements.

The West Quay Road dealership was chosen for its experience with top-flight manufacturers (including Lotus, Ferrari, Porsche and Aston Martin), its prestigious location in Poole and its impeccable customer service standards. The purpose-built, modern showroom has recently been re-configured to accommodate the Abarth vehicles and new flooring and furniture has been installed. the Westover Group is proud to count three Fiat dealerships (in New Milton, Poole and Salisbury) amongst its growing portfolio of manufacturers, but Abarth sales will be dealt with exclusively from Westover's Sportscar operation on West Quay Road in Poole.
