Best Prize Bar None, says Westover Kia's iPad Winner

Tuckton resident Jane Ricot has won an iPad 2, after spotting a special bar-coded Kia Picanto which was sent out on the local streets by Westover Kia.
The Ferndown dealership asked local residents to keep their eyes peeled for its distinctive car. Anyone who spotted it could scan the code with a smart phone and enter Westover Kia’s competition while they were on the move. However, news of this fantastic competition spread and soon people were also given the opportunity to enter the competition online.
Having been randomly selected from more than 2,000 entries, Jane said the win was perfectly timed. “We’d been thinking about buying an iPad for ourselves but decided it was a bit expensive, so this really was a lovely surprise. I was lucky enough to find out about the win the day before we set off to New York, so the iPad was great for keeping me occupied on the plane and for looking up information and directions once we’d arrived.”
She added: “My daughter has set it all up for me and she has ideas about becoming the main user but I am really enjoying using it for the games apps she has downloaded and I’ve become quite adept at downloading things myself now!”
Paul Griffiths, Westover Kia Brand Manager, commented: “The iPad2 is one of the latest must-have gadgets so inevitably the competition was extremely popular. We were delighted to be able to give Jane the prize in time for her to enjoy it on holiday. We were also pleased to discover that she is a past Westover customer, having purchased a Fiat Panda from one of Westover’s Fiat dealerships in 2010.”
Worth nearly £400, the iPad is lighter and more powerful than its predecessors - much like the latest Kia models. It has a 10 hour battery life and two cameras so that users can make FaceTime video calls and record HD movies.
