Westover Peugeot Welcomes Richard to the Team

There’s a new member of the showroom team at Westover Peugeot in Poole.
Richard Brooks joins Westover with plenty of Peugeot experience, having worked for Southgate Peugeot in Blandford for 13 years until its recent closure. Based in Blandford, Richard is able to collect and deliver vehicles for customers who may be concerned about where they can now buy, part-exchange or maintain their Peugeot vehicles to manufacturer standards.
After completing a work experience programme in mechanics at school, Richard decided that he wanted to combine his love of cars with his strong communication skills and has worked in the motor industry ever since. With so much Peugeot knowledge under his belt, Richard says he loves the versatility of the marque.
“The beauty of Peugeot is that it has something for everyone, whether you are looking for your first car, an economical or family vehicle, a robust off-roader like the 4007 or something a bit more sporty like the RCZ,” he comments. “There’s also a wide range of commercial vehicles.
“I’m particularly excited about the launch of the Peugeot 208 this year. It promises to be an even more successful model than its predecessor - the enormously popular Peugeot 207 - so it’s an exciting time for Peugeot showrooms.
Brand Manager at the Wallisdown Road dealership, Paul Griffiths adds: “Richard knows Peugeot inside out and his enthusiasm for the brand is evident. He was the perfect candidate for this role and we are pleased to welcome him to the team.”
The new Peugeot 208 will be in the showroom from June and will be available to order from Westover Peugeot in May. Available with either three or five doors, the new super-mini looks set to appeal to a wide variety of customers. It’s stylish and compact, but it has increased space - with additional room in the rear seats and a more generous boot. It achieves average CO2 emissions that are 34g/km lower than the 207, beating every other model in its class thanks to the latest-generation engine technology under the bonnet.
