Westover Whets Appetites in More Ways Than One
Westover’s sister dealerships Nissan and Toyota served up a treat at the BuyDorset early summer networking event at Basepoint Business Centre last week. Not only did they take along a mouth-watering selection of cars to tempt around 50 guests from local businesses, they also provided a sizzling hog roast. The event was co-sponsored by The Way Ahead Training & Consultancy Limited.Set up to encourage Dorset businesses to support each other by using local suppliers of products and services wherever possible, BuyDorset organised the event to bring local businesses together in an informal environment in which they could find out more about what each has to offer.
Event Manager, Sandra Blakey said: “There are some 28,000 businesses operating in Dorset with the capacity to fulfil a huge range of individual and commercial requirements and our monthly meetings provide an ideal opportunity for them to introduce and promote themselves on a friendly, face-to-face basis. Helping local businesses to forge mutually beneficial relationships with each other, directly benefits the local economy and local people - creating a win-win situation for everyone involved.”

During the event, Westover Nissan took the opportunity to showcase the newly launched Leaf – Nissan’s award-winning 100% electric car.
