One lucky guest who attended Westover Land Rover’s exclusive Range Rover Velar preview – which took place an hour before Westover Group’s Motor Showcase officially opened at the BIC in April - has won a night at Cranborne’s stunning country house hotel, 10 Castle Street.
The winner - Jonathan Lamb from Ringwood - is already a Land Rover devotee and so jumped at the chance to see the new Velar in the metal when it made its very first appearance in the South of England (following its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March). Land Rover guests, including Jonathan, who had expressed an interest in the Range Rover Velar were granted early entry to the BIC on Saturday 29th April and enjoyed coffee and croissants on the Westover Land Rover stand.
The names of those who attended were entered into a free prize draw to win the night away.
Jonathan popped into Westover Land Rover’s Christchurch showroom recently to be presented with his winning ticket, entitling him to supper, bed and breakfast at Cranborne’s latest venue, and has since booked to go and stay in celebration of his wedding anniversary.
10 Castle Street is a Grade II* listed property which has been luxuriously remodelled by local entrepreneurs, Alexander and Gretchen Boon. It includes a restaurant and relaxed bar, as well as nine individually designed bedrooms. It is located on the Cranborne Chase in Dorset, just 10 minutes from Wimborne Minster.
The Range Rover Velar is not due in UK showrooms until July but orders are flooding in thick and fast at Westover Land Rover. This fourth and newest addition to the Range Rover family is instantly recognisable as a descendant of the original luxury SUV (Velar was the code name for the very first Range Rover prototypes back in the 1960s), yet it combines the very latest in precision engineering with stop-you-in-your-tracks looks. It goes without saying that the Velar has all the off-road credibility of the iconic Land Rover brand.
