Coffee and Cake Raises Money for Macmillan Cancer Care

Thanks for your support if you joined us!

- Westover Group supported the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning at the end of September for the eighth year running, helping to drive donations to Macmillan Cancer Support.

- Teas and coffees were available in the showrooms all day, with Westover making a donation for every cup of tea or coffee drunk, every test drive taken and every car bought or ordered on the day.

Each and every one of Westover’s 26 car showrooms in Bournemouth, Christchurch, Corfe Mullen, Ferndown and Salisbury served tea, coffee and cakes to raise money for Macmillan, the charity which offers medical, emotional and financial support to people living with cancer.

“Lots of our customers, past and present, popped in to enjoy a delicious treat and a hot drink on the day," says Mike Boyd, Westover Group director.

“The annual Macmillan Coffee Morning is a great opportunity for us to put our welcoming showrooms to an alternative good use, have an open house event and help raise some money. It’s about supporting a really worthwhile cause and we're so glad that lots of local people back us in our bid to boost Macmillan’s funds.”

Westover is donating 50p for every tea or coffee, £5 for every test drive and £50 for every car bought or ordered on the day.

The Group has raised more money from its World’s Biggest Coffee Mornings than any other company in Dorset for the last two years running.

Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. It also supports carers and families, funds nurses and specialist health care professionals and builds cancer care centres.
