Competitions and Prizes Galore at Westover's Motor Showcase

29th and 30th April 2017

Fancy winning a brand new car? That’s just one of many magnificent prizes up for grabs at Westover’s Motor Showcase at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) on 29th and 30th April. There’s also an iPhone SE, an iPad Mini, a Fitbit and other exciting prizes ready and waiting to be won by lucky visitors over the weekend.

To be in the running to win a car, all visitors need to do is register in advance at Anyone who prints off their ticket and gets it scanned when they enter the show on the day, will be entered into the free prize draw.

The competition is being run in association with Auto Trader, the UK’s largest digital vehicle market place. The lucky winner will be contacted in June, when they will also be told what make and model of car they have won.

Visitors and budding photographers who take a picture and post it on Twitter (#motorshowcase) could bag themselves an iPhone SE, the most powerful four inch phone ever. Westover will be displaying the best images – whether that’s a selfie or an interesting angle on one of the pre-release cars - on massive high definition Twitter-walls throughout the day and the photographer responsible for the winning shot of the weekend will walk away with a new phone.

Ever wondered how you’d fare as a pit-stop mechanic? Anyone who wants to test their wheel-changing skills could win an iPad Mini in the process. Join the Westover SKODA team at the Motor Showcase to take on the Service Park Challenge and you’ll be equipped with a cordless drill and timed while changing a wheel. Times will be marked up on a leader board, with the weekend’s top performer taking home the prize.

Peugeot’s Light Chaser game will test even the speediest of reactions. Whoever can respond the fastest (each competitor will be timed) to a series of flashing lights and tap them all in the correct order during a 60 second time trial will get a Fitbit for their efforts.

Visitors to Westover’s Motor Showcase will be able to feast their eyes on over 150 of the newest cars currently available in the UK.

Anyone can enjoy the family-focused event simply by turning up at the BIC on Saturday 29th April (10.00am-5.00pm) or Sunday 30th April (10.00am–4.00pm) but visitors need to register in advance to be in with a chance of winning the car.

“There’s so much going on for all the family at this year’s Motor Showcase,” says Mark Whittam, Head of Marketing at Westover Group. “We welcomed nearly 4,500 visitors to our last event in 2015 and we’re up 50 per cent on registrations, so it’s going to be buzzing! This is our third Motor Showcase at the BIC and we’ve got some really exciting events and competitions running, plus some amazing halo cars. It looks set to be the best we’ve held so far.”

Hope to see you there!
