Previously known as the Elise S Cup, the new Elise 220 Cup takes the incredible ‘Race only’ Elise Cup R and makes some slight adjustments, so it is allowed on the road. The power to weight ratio is 235bhp/tonne which results in nothing more than high acceleration, high agility and incredible speed, which guarantees to put a smile on your face.
The 1.8 Litre DOHC 4 cylinder, dual VVT-I, 16-valve Engine produces 217bhp thanks to its Magnuson R900 Eaton Supercharger and because the car weighs just 952 KG it launches the 220 cup from 0-60 in 4.2 Seconds with a top speed of 140mph. Combined fuel economy is an incredible 37.5mpg (7.5l/100km) and CO2 emissions are only 175g/km. Proving that ownership of a sports car is both affordable and enticing.
