SAVE £2,000 ON A NEW LAND ROVER

In the Budget on Wednesday 22 April 2009, Chancellor Alistair Darling announced the introduction of a Government Scrappage Scheme. We welcome this initiative and are doing everything we can to make things as easy as possible for our customers to take advantage.
 
New Land Rover customers with a qualifying vehicle are eligible for a £2,000 scrappage allowance accross the Land Rover range.
 
Drive a new Freelander for less
 
Land Rover is also providing a little extra help. Eligible scrappage customers can now drive away the award-winning Land Rover Freelander 2 TD4 S for attractively low monthly payments.

Current details of the Scheme:
 
• In exchange for scrapping your old vehicle and buying a new one, the Government and Land Rover will contribute a total of £2,000 towards the purchase of a new Land Rover
• The scheme is started the 18th May 2009
• The scheme will be available for up to 300,000 sales of any vehicles in the UK
  or until 28th February 2010, whichever is sooner

The vehicle you are trading in must:

• Be a car or light commercial vehicle weighing up to 3,500 kilograms (kg)
• Have been first registered in the United Kingdom (UK) on or before 31 August  1999
• Have insurance and hold a valid tax cerificate
• Have been registered to the claimant continuously for 12 calendar months before the order date of the new vehicle
• Have a UK address on the registration certificate (V5C)
• Have a current MOT test certificate before the date of order for the new vehicle
• Be clear of any finance payments
 
 
The new vehicle you want to buy must:

• Be a car or a light commercial vehicle weighing up to 3,500 kg
• Be a UK specification vehicle
• Be declared new at first registration in the UK with no former keepers
• Have been first registered in the UK on or after the start date of the Scrappage Scheme
• Be registered to the same keeper as the registered keeper of the vehicle to be scrapped
