LAND ROVER SUCCESS IN AUTO EXPRESS DRIVER POWER AWARDS
In this week's Auto Express, the Land Rover Discovery 3 was voted the country's most practical vehicle by more than 23,000 voters in the annual Auto Express Driver Power Awards.

The Discovery 3 was also voted sixth out of 100 in the overall ranking results. Driver Power is Britain's top car reliability survey – voted for by car owners. Each car is scored on attributes such as reliability, running costs, comfort, performance, practicality and how satisfying it has been to own.

Auto Express said of the Discovery 3: "Here’s proof when it comes to practicality, you don’t need an MPV. The Discovery 3 has more ‘throw it all and go’ ability than any other in the Driver Power Top 100, thanks to its vast size, seven-seater layout and split tailgate."

LAND ROVER NAMED THE OFFICIAL VEHICLE OF UNITED STATES EQUESTRIAN FEDERATION                                                                                                                        The Leader in World-Class Sport Utility Vehicles is to sponsor 2010 U.S. Eventing Team. The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) and Land Rover North America jointly announced today that Land Rover will be the official vehicle sponsor of the USEF for 2010.
In addition to its status as Official Vehicle of the USEF in 2010, Land Rover will also be the title sponsor of the U.S. Eventing Team, set to compete at this year’s Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, September 25 – October 10, in Lexington, Kentucky. 
“Land Rover represents premium performance and success,” says USEF president David O’Connor. “That makes them a perfect fit for our U.S. Eventing Team. We look forward to their support leading up to the World Equestrian Games and to their overall support of the Federation.”

RANGE ROVER SCOOPS RUSSIAN CAR OF THE YEAR AWARD
The 2010 Model Year Range Rover has been awarded 'Best Full-Size Off-Road Vehicle’ at the Car of the Year awards in Moscow, Russia.

The annual national Car of the Year awards celebrate Russia's top vehicles, voted for by more than 1.5 million Russian car owners. Cars recognized to be the best in their category are nominated as national favorites. 

Aleksey Shilykovsky, Land Rover Sales and Marketing Director for Russia said of the award: "We are thrilled that the Range Rover has been nominated Russia's best full-size off-road vehicle. It confirms its peerless position in an ever-competitive market.”
