Land Rover staked out new territory with the introducion of the Range Rover Sport - the sports tourer that contradicts, disrupts and challenges expectations of how a 4x4 should look, feel and perform.  The Range Rover Sport delivers on-road performance, best-in-class comfort and refinement with incredible off-road ability.  The combination of distinctive, chiselled styling, and high-end luxury with refined road manners, efficiency and power make the Range Rover Sport the quintessential sports tourer.

The Supercharged model leads the Range Rover Sport's line-up and offers a truly exciting driving experience with it's immensely powerful and hugely flexible 4.2 litre Supercharged V8 390PS petrol engine delivering massive torque and effortless acceleration.  It's ability to bring you to a stop, regardless of surface or terrain, is aided by graphite iron Brembo performance front brakes with 4-piston calipers.

The twin turbo 3.6 litre TDV8 diesel, one of the world's most advanced engines. delivers a maximum power of 272PS at 4,000 rpm offering substantially boosted performance and refinement, and the twin variable nozzle turbochargers contribute to the huge torque of this engine.  Effortless performance is achieved at low engine speeds and large graphite iron Brembo front brakes are standard.  The perfect roar of the exhaust is fine tuned to complement its sporting characteristics.  The 2.7 litre TDV6 diesel is the third of three very powerful reasons why Range Rover Sport is one of the world's best-forming sports tourers, making the Sport engine line-up class-leading on-road and awesome off-road.  

The desire to drive and experience Range Rover Sport is enhanced by its athletic, muscular design.  The five-door body style with single-piece rear aluminium tailgate adds to the dynamic look and feel of the vehicle.  The wheel arches are subtly flared, power vents sit behind the front wheels and there's a sharp muscular line that runs along the car's hips.  Range Rover styling cues include the 'floating' roof and  clamshell bonnet wih a sportier raked windscreen.

Range Rover Sport is one of the best driver's vehicles that Land Rover has ever made.  The edgy, sporty cockpit is designed to cocoon the driver and the high command, sculpted seats are made to sit in, not on.  Impressive levels of safety are provided for the driver and passengers with Active Roll Mitigation and Dynamic Stability Control with eight airbags including side curtains.
