Land Rover's 60th anniversary celebrations continue with a donation of 60 vehicles to the British Red Cross Society.
As part of its 60th anniversary celebrations, Land Rover has donated 60 vehicles to the British Red Cross Society, where 30 will be used in the UK and 30 will assist with some of the most pressuring humanitarian programmes throughout the rest of the world. the vehicles were officially handed over to the Red Cross President, HRH The Prince of Wales, during The British Red Cross Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace on 9th July 2008. In an unprecedented move, the vehicles, a mixture of Defender, Discovery and Freelander 2 models, were arranged in the form of a cross in the quadrangle of the Palace.
