Mr Knapper Wins Jaguar XJ...For The Weekend
Vernon Knapper collected the keys to a brand new Jaguar XJ - which he won for the weekend, courtesy of Westover Jaguar on West Quay Road in Poole, after entering a prize draw hosted by leading local law firm, Ellis Jones Solicitors.
“Much as I wish I’d won the XJ outright, a weekend in it made for a great experience!” reports Mr Knapper. “It certainly lives up to its reputation – it was really luxurious, packed with mod cons and super sleek features inside and out. It was punchy to drive but easy to handle, and I was really impressed with the fuel economy. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend with the XJ – its clever blend of sportiness and practicality make it top of my wish list.”
Westover Jaguar lent Mr Knapper the Jaguar XJ from Friday afternoon through to Monday morning, allowing him plenty of time to familiarize himself with the car’s many new and innovative features, as well as its sporty handling.

Constructed from aluminium and magnesium (using techniques borrowed from the aviation industry), the Jaguar XJ is available in four models (Luxury, Premium Luxury, Portfolio and Supersport). There are four engine choices – three powerful supercharged V8 options and a 3.0 litre V6 diesel, which delivers clout without compromising capability. There’s also a long-wheelbase option, which gives extra legroom.
