Westover Fiat Welcomes Stephen Morrison to the Team

Westover Fiat on Wallisdown Road in Poole has a new sales manager. Stephen Morrison has recently joined the team, bringing with him 16 years of experience and a newly-discovered love for the Fiat brand.

Stephen, who was born in Ringwood and now lives in Verwood, has previously worked in sales management roles for Mercedes in Dorchester and Honda in Newbury, Berkshire.

“I‘d had my eye on the Westover Group for some time,” says Stephen. “I was keen to work for a larger organisation and so when the job at Westover Fiat became available it was a no-brainer for me. It’s really refreshing being part of a company that represents so many vehicle manufacturers and has a more structured way of working as well as a more obvious career path.

“The Fiat brand is great fun and the cars are superb. I’m completely converted! People know about the seriously funky 500 but many aren’t aware of the other fabulous models in the range. I’m driving the 500X at the moment - it’s a really good quality car and it’s very comfortable too. To my mind, it’s an easy rival for some of the prestige models out there, especially with a price tag that starts at just £15,000 - considerably less than its more up-market rivals.

"Fiat is producing some really high quality cars and we have a great product range. I’m really impressed with what I’ve seen so far and there’s more on the horizon too, starting with the launch of the Fiat Spider sports car later this year.

“There’s a young market for the Fiat 500 but look at the other models in the range and you can see that we have a genuinely broad appeal across all age groups.

"There’s a Fiat for everyone and my mission is to raise awareness of that, so I’m hoping to get the cars out and about in the local community more giving people a chance to see them without having to visit the showroom.

“I’m pleased that I took the plunge and changed jobs,” finishes Stephen. “Fiat’s a really vibrant brand and the customers reflect that, so it’s a great showroom to work in. There’s no doubting the competitiveness of the market at the moment but Fiat definitely stands out from the crowd. The cars are a bit different from the norm and they are built to a really high quality, which means they offer great value for money.

Prices for a new Fiat start at just £9,375 whilst approved used vehicles - which come with Westover’s comprehensive warranty and 30 day exchange policy – are priced from less than £3,000.
