Leona Tickled Pink!
The first limited edition Fiat 500 Pink has left Westover Fiat’s showroom in Poole – having been snapped up by Boscombe-based Leona Card the very same day it arrived. Just 500 of the stylish Limited Edition super-minis will come off Fiat’s production line. Customers have been calling for a pink model since the 500 was launched back in 2008 – so they’re selling fast.
“As soon as I heard about the Fiat 500 Pink I got on the phone to Jim at Westover Fiat,” reports Leona. “I’ve never had a new car before, although I’d been thinking about getting one for a while. Nothing had caught my eye until I saw this – it’s just the right shade of pink and I knew I had to have one!”
The super-smart Fiat 500 Pink comes with a 1.2 petrol engine and Start&Stop technology (which reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions). It has a pink dashboard, special pink key cover and mats with a pink trim. Extras, like CD/MP3 player, electric front windows and sun roof, remote control locking and power steering, come as standard features. Despite its size, the car has a first class safety package – with seven airbags on board - and scores the full five stars in Euro NCAP occupant protection crash tests.
Westover Fiat’s Sales Manager, Brett Sanftleben, finishes: “Having a 500 Pink in the showroom is certainly putting an extra spring in our step. I gather the model is rapidly becoming the motoring must-have accessory of 2010, so Leona can be proud of her ‘fashion-forward’ status! We wish her many hours of happy motoring in her Pink – and we’d also like to wish her the best of luck with her Three Peaks walk in Yorkshire at Easter, which she’s doing in aid of Sport Relief.
