The Fiat 500X 'off-road look' model has it all: 4x4 capabilities, comfort and cutting edge design.
Within the car, a mode selector allows the driver to select one of three driving modes, depending upon the road and weather conditions. Auto is perfect for everyday use, sport makes the car more responsive and energetic, and all-weather mode brings more traction increasing vehicle stability in poor weather conditions.
The 500X has xenon headlights for better visibility (and therefore increased safety) in all driving conditions. The entry-level Pop specification comes complete with air-conditioning, electric front and rear windows, and the ability to connect an iPod to the car's audio system.
There is plenty of space in the Fiat 500X, both for the driver and for passengers. There's also heaps of clever storage space within the car, including wide door bins and a large glove box. The boot has plenty of room for a large suitcase and the rear seats fold all the way down, allowing maximum load space.
A 'nav plus pack' is integrated into the 500X's 6.5 inch Uconnect™ DAB radio/navigation system. Built with advanced software, this comes with voice command options, intuitive menus and quick-response mechanisms so that you can make hands-free calls, voice respond to text messages, listen to satellite radio and access sensor-assisted GPS navigation. The Fiat 500X also has electric seats with eight different positions so you'll be as comfortable as possible. Mood selection (auto, sport or all weather) means the driver can change the driving experience to suit the type of road or the conditions.
Fiat is offering the 500X with a 138bhp 1.4-litre petrol engine, as well as three diesels – a 93bhp 1.3, 118bhp 1.6 and a 138bhp 2.0-litre. There are also three transmissions available, including a nine-speed automatic, as well as the choice of front- or four-wheel drive.
