Buying a car is one of the largest purchases someone will make in their lifetime so our Sales Executive's are specifically trained to make the experience and process as easy and enjoyable as possible

As a Sales Executive you will guide each customer through their purchase from picking the most suitable model, arranging test drives and setting up finance options to the all important handover once the car has been delivered to the showroom.

Full training will be given through our bespoke sales induction programme so you don’t have to have prior experience in the motor industry. Trainee Customer Consultant

Westover Lexus are looking for a Trainee Customer Consultant to join their expanding team

Working alongside a team of dynamic and highly experienced Customer Consultants, this fantastic opportunity will allow you to earn while you learn with the support of one of the world’s most technologically advanced and innovative brands.

As a Trainee Customer Consultant you will be enrolled in the Lexus Academy and will follow a bespoke training programme which will give you opportunity to visit the Lexus factory in Burnaston, Derby. This unique programme will fast track you through a 12 week learning journey and onto the Academy’s development path, leading to full industry recognised accreditation and long term career progression with the Lexus brand.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the Centre Host to meet and greet all customers and ensure they receive a warm welcome
  • Assist with general showroom activities including answering phone calls and responding to online and social media enquiries
  • Engage with customers and use your growing knowledge of the Lexus brand to discuss products and options available
  • Create and maintain accurate digital customer records
  • Sell vehicles to customers and complete handovers with the support of your mentor
  • Liaise with and support all colleagues to deliver both a sales and aftersales experience that exceeds customer expectations

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience of working in a customer facing role
  • A Customer focused attitude with the confidence and personality to develop long term customer relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office
  • An eye for detail with the ability to follow processes and capture information accurately
  • A smart and professional appearance
  • Enthusiasm, self motivation and a willingness to learn
  • You must be available to start on or before Friday 29th June

To apply you must have:

  • A full Drivers Licence
  • At least two A Levels or equivalent
  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above or equivalent

Hours

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm, Saturdays 8.30am to 5.00pm and an allocated weekday off each week

The Role

As a Sales Executive you are an ambassador for the franchise Brand you represent, as well as the Group and at Westover Group we pride ourselves on delivering an impeccable customer experience 100% of the time. Our Sales Executives demonstrate exquisite levels of customer service by providing a knowledgeable, efficient and attentive service, showcasing the unique features of the cars they are selling and guiding each customer through the sales process flawlessly.

Alongside this our Sales Executives strive to achieve all set objectives and maximise every sales opportunity. Their negotiation and influencing skills help to build positive and professional relationships with our customers to ensure long term sustainability of the business.

Whilst a background in sales is helpful, it is not essential and we welcome applications from individuals with transferrable skills including retail sales, Call Centres, Estate Agencies, Banking and Financial Services.

Role Responsibilities

  • Maximise every sales opportunity to achieve vehicle sales and profit targets
  • Proactively prospect new and existing customers to maintain your database and ensure repeat business
  • Build rapport with customers, accurately assess their needs and recommend the most suitable products and services
  • Create and coordinate customer appointments, schedule test drives and arrange handover appointments
  • Support the Sales Administrators with accurately processing all documentation relating to vehicle sales including vehicle orders and finance agreements

What Makes an Exceptional Sales Executive?

  • A proven record of achieving targets and a determination to overachieve
  • Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to communicate credibly with our customers and your colleagues
  • Ability to work under pressure and confident taking individual responsibility for contributing to the success of the sales team
  • Good administration and diary management skills
  • Knowledge of FCA regulations is desirable but not essential as training will be given
  • Full Driving Licence.

Progress Chaser, Salisbury

The Role

Westover Group is looking for an experienced Progress Chaser to join our team at Land Rover Salisbury.

As a Progress Chaser you will be responsible for efficiently coordinating the pre-sale preparation of all new and used vehicles prior to customer collection.

To be a success in this role you will have;

  • A "Customer First" focus and philosophy
  • Outstanding organisational skills and a pragmatic approach to your daily tasks
  • Computer literate with accurate administration skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • You will be able to demonstrate that you are adaptable in this role with an excellent ability to manage changing priorities
  • Full Driving Licence

Responsibilities

  • Accepting deliveries on site and checking vehicle documentation is accurate
  • Liaising with the Service team to schedule any necessary work into the workshop
  • Check orders and ensure any accessories are fitted by the Service department ahead of collection
  • Preparing the vehicle ahead of handover, ensuring it has been valeted in accordance with our presentation standards
  • Report any delays or issues to the Sales team so the Customer can be kept up to date ahead of their Handover day
  • Coordinating the movement of new and used cars on site and at the Compound
  • Ensure all vehicles on site meet Jaguar Land Rover audit standards
