At Westover Group we not only supply parts and accessories to our own group but have a trade base that spans nearly 400 customers across Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire and beyond.

With Parts Hubs based in Salisbury and Poole as well as a dedicated Land Rover Parts operation in Christchurch and a dedicated Jaguar and Sports Cars operation in Poole, we have a large workforce of dedicated and knowledgeable Retail and Trade Advisors, Service Counter Advisors, Delivery Drivers and Warehouse Operatives.

One of the great things about parts is that you work alongside so many different departments within the dealerships and as our Sales and Aftersales volumes increase, our Parts teams have never been more important. Parts Advisor, Poole

Westover Group Parts Hub are looking for a Parts Advisor to join their teams in Poole

The Role

As a Parts Advisor you are key to delivering our group after sales customer satisfaction, volume and profitability objectives. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills in order to professionally interact with customers face to face or over the telephone.

As well as ensuring that walk in and telephone enquiries are promptly dealt with, you will need to own and deliver your individual sales objectives consistently across each month.

Our Parts Advisors are meticulous in respect of the administrative areas of the parts department, and typically are required to assist and support stock control policies and deliveries. As a Parts Advisor you will always deliver an exceptional experience to internal, trade and retail customers.

Alongside an absolute customer first attitude, you will need to demonstrate an ability to maximise sales, improve customer retention and consistently deliver the satisfaction, volume and profitability objectives across your area of responsibility.

To be a success in this role, you will possess

  • Effective communication skills (written and aural);
  • Commitment to delivering customer excellence;
  • A good standard of verbal and numerical reasoning;
  • A keen eye for detail;
  • Previous experience in a target driven role;
  • Core skills in computing (essential), including web systems, email and use of excel;
  • Experience with CDK an advantage;
  • Full Driving Licence.
  • Previous experience in this role is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

Warehouse/Workshop Back Counter Assistant, Wallisdown

The Role

Wallisdown Parts Hub requires a Warehouse/Back Workshop Counter Assistant to join their team. Motor trade experience would be beneficial although full training will be provided.

To be a success in this role you will:

  • Be reliable and well presented (some work wear provided)
  • Provide a professional and courteous service
  • Have good communication skills
  • Be confident in managing your own work load, particularly during busy periods
  • Hold a full driving licence
  • Have excellent organisational skills

Your Responsibilities:

  • Accurately check all incoming stock, ensuring any damaged or missing items are identified
  • Pack and unpack stock, relocating items as necessary
  • Support the wider parts team with picking orders to make sure only invoiced goods leave the warehouse
  • Process stock returns
  • To receive and receipt for the collection of payments from customers where required
  • Assist in keeping the warehouse tidy and organised
  • You will be working on the workshop back counter to serve technicians in the workshop
