Transaction Manager

Westover Group has an exciting opportunity for a Transaction Manager to join their team in Salisbury.

The role

As a Transaction Manager you will be responsible for growing and developing the Sales of Finance and Insurance products across our brands in Salisbury.

You will need to possess:

  • A proven track record in sales
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate at all levels
  • A thorough understanding of financial and insurance product regulations, although full training will be given
  • Motivation to consistently exceed customer satisfaction and profitability objectives
  • FCA accreditation
  • Full Driving Licence

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify the most appropriate finance, warranty and insurance packages for all customers, ensuring they understand the options clearly whilst also maximising profit
  • Check the credit status of each customer and recommend the customer to finance providers
  • Maintain contact with customers throughout the application process, answering any questions and resolving any problems
  • Work with the Heads of Business to develop campaigns and incentives to promote financial products and services to maximise profitability
  • Ensure accurate completion of all documentation, prompt collection of outstanding payments and safe handling of all transactions
  • Meet all compliance obligations under the FCA

Aftersales Manager

Westover Renault and Fiat have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Aftersales Manager to join their management team in Salisbury.

The Role

As an important member of the dealership’s senior team, you will be required to run a profitable and efficient department ensuring a ‘customer first’ approach is maintained at all times whilst using your knowledge and tenacity to meet performance targets set by the group and the manufacturer.

Our Aftersales Managers lead, motivate and drive our teams of Service Advisors and Technicians and are hands on in the day to day running of the department. Alongside a customer-focused attitude, you will be commercially minded, passionate about the automotive industry and be motivated to exceed targets.

To be a success in this role, you will possess:

  • A proven track record of running a successful aftersales department in a main dealer environment
  • The ability to lead by example, manage and inspire the team to consistently exceed customer satisfaction and profitability objectives
  • Experience of developing and monitoring budgets
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with a high level of self motivation
  • Up to date knowledge of vehicle and consumer legislation as well as FCA regulations

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop Service department plans and budgets to achieve quarterly and annual targets
  • Create and agree marketing and promotion plans in line with the department’s budgets
  • Support and motivate a team of Service Advisors by providing a clear direction for the department to maximise profitability
  • Manage a workshop to ensure workshop efficiency and productivity rates are maintained
  • Ensure warranty procedures are followed correctly and monies are recovered promptly
  • Respond promptly to any customer complaints and ensure timely resolutions
  • Establish and monitor the team’s training requirements to ensure the required level of expertise is achieved at all times
  • Work alongside the Group Head of Service to develop a strategy to maintain the long term profitability of the department

Westover Jaguar Land Rover Christchurch – Retail Experience and Ownership Manager

Having completed stage one of our £14m investment in Jaguar Land Rover we expect to complete the second phase of the project in early 2019.

As we transition into the new retail environment, we are now looking to appoint a Retail Experience and Ownership Manager to join the senior management team at our temporary JLR sales and service retail location in Christchurch.

Responsible for delivering the sales and after sales retail experience, you will already be working in a customer experience retail environment looking to take the next step in your career development. Additionally, as Ownership Manager, you will be the single point of contact for all of our Jaguar Land Rover customer contacts into the business.

Assistant Service Manager/Service Reception Manager

Westover Group has an excellent opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Assistant Service Manager/Service Reception manager to join their management team at Renault, Fiat and Hyundai Poole.

The Role

As an important member of the dealership’s management team, you will be ensuring a ‘customer first’ approach is maintained at all times whilst using your knowledge to support meeting performance targets set by the group and the manufacturer.

Our Service Reception Manager will motivate and drive our teams of Service Advisors to deliver an excellent customer experience. Alongside a customer-focused attitude you will need to be commercially minded.

You will need to possess:

  • The ability to lead by example, manage and inspire the service advisors to consistently exceed customer satisfaction and profitability objectives
  • Experience of developing and motivating FOH service team
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Up to date knowledge of vehicle and consumer legislation.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support and motivate a team of 10 Service Advisors by providing a clear direction for the department to maximise profitability on a multi franchise site
  • Ensure warranty procedures are followed correctly and monies are recovered promptly
  • Respond promptly to any customer complaints and ensure timely resolutions
  • Establish and monitor the team’s training requirements to ensure the required level of expertise is achieved at all times
  • Work alongside the Head of Service to develop a strategy to maintain the long term profitability of the department
